Wellmark sits on the Vedai road at Jambuvanodai, Muthupet — spelt Muthupettai on many signs and maps — ten minutes from the boat house where the boats leave for the lagoon. Guests come for the mangroves and the birds, for the Darga, or simply for a weekend where nothing is in a hurry.
